Welcome Internet Students! Urgent Message: It is very important that you enroll in this course as soon as possible. Once enrolled you will be sent a Welcome letter and a Class Access letter. It is designed as an orientation to this online class. The links to the left will get you to some class components. I've provided you with some class information outside of the secure site, so you can make a fair assessment of this class and see if this online environment is for you. I will update class content fairly often, so I encourage everyone to log on frequently. Guidelines for Success:An online course requires much more self-discipline than a traditional face-to-face course. In order for you to be successful in this course, it is very important not to fall behind. Since computer access is NEVER completely reliable, don't make the mistake of postponing assignments until the last minute. Some students are under the misconception that an online class requires less time than a traditional face-to-face class. Figure that the face-to-face version of this class requires 3 hours a week in a classroom plus approximately 2 to 3 hours a week of homework.
