TEXT: New Perspectives on Microsoft Excel 2000 Comprehensive
CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Introduction to Excel. Course will cover spreadsheets, database, graphics, and macros, as they relate to solving business problems.
PROJECTS: Six projects, each worth 50 points, will be assigned to help you learn the various capabilities of Excel 2000. There are several locations on campus where computer time is available for those unable to finish the projects  at home. Project turned in on the day due will be eligible for full credit. Projects turned in after that day will be considered late. Projects turned in after the class meeting will be graded as one week late. Ten points will be deducted for each week late. During the course of instruction the instructor may suggest alternate projects. Students caught copying the work of others will receive a zero for the firs offense. Subsequent copying will result in a grade of "F" for the semester. If a project is due, and you are unable to attend that class, you must leave it in my mailbox.

READING ASSIGNMENTS: For this course, we will follow the order of the book, starting on page Ex 1.03 with Tutorial 1.
